California Raptor Center - A santuary for the big birds

Last summer, I found an amazing place at south campus of UCD. It is an institute for taking care of the raptors (eagles, owls, and vultures) that are unable to live independently in the wild, and if they are injured too badly to be survive in the wild again, they will be kept in this place permanently.

At here all birds have their own names, and their histories are well documented on the introduction boards outside of their cages. If you pay more attention to these birds, you would find each of them has his or her unique personality.

It is so amazing to know the details of every bird living here, because you will know every life is precious, and that is why we need to conserve the natural environment for wild animals like these cool birds.
